Part ONE. (20%)
In your task of Part ONE, you are expected to write a brief in which you should mention what type of graphic design trend or trends fit best the campaign that you will be designing in Part TWO.
When choosing the trend or trends that you will use, you should take into consideration that the primary target audience for your campaign that you will be designing in Part TWO ranges between 30 – 50 years old, men and women. The trends that you will choose should cover the typography style, the color schemes, the type of animation and the patterns used, if applicable.
Use MS Word document to write your text, which is expected to be not less than 200 words.

Part TWO.
– Task 1 in Part TWO (20%):
Your first task for Part TWO is to design (using Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator) an advertising campaign composed of 3 visuals (A3-size Poster, 1080px*1920px Instagram Story, and 1080px*1080px Instagram Post).
According to the Background Information, the topic of the campaign is Dubai World Cup 2025 (It is an international horse race held annually since 1996 in Dubai – UAE).
The aim of your advertising campaign is to promote Dubai World Cup 2025 horseracing contest. Your designed campaign should invite people to watch and cheer the riders in the Medyan Racecourse, that will take place in Dubai on the 23rd of February 2025.
You have to put the following supportive text (in green) on the poster:
Slogan: Join us in Dubai World Cup 2025
Primary Text: Experience a memorable ambiance at Dubai’s largest social and sporting event.
Call to Action: Book your tickets now!
Consider how you can design your 3 visuals and deliver the message with the Graphic Design trend or trends that you have chosen in Part ONE.
For the designs, you are not allowed to use any artist-made vector, artwork, or photography that is not royalty-free. Be knowledgeable of plagiarism.
– Task 2 in Part TWO (10%):
Your second task in Part TWO is to animate (using Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro) the Instagram poster you designed in the first task in Part TWO. The animation should follow the animation trend that you have chosen in Part ONE.
It should not exceed 15 seconds, and its video format should be .mp4 format with a composition size of 1080px*1080px (1:1 aspect ratio). The animation should include: text, visuals (raster images or vector graphics) and background music.
– Task 3 in Part TWO (30%):
Your third task in Part TWO is to answer the following questions in a conclusion:
1- How did you apply the Graphic Design trends on your designed campaign? Explain the steps.
2- What challenges did you experience in creating your advertising campaign and its animation? Give some details.
Use MS Word document to write your text, which is expected to be not less than 300 words.

Part THREE. (20%)
Your task in Part THREE is an online interview validation. The validation time and date will be announced by your lecturer.

Submission requirements:
Each student has to create a folder with the name “Student name_Student number” (For example, Alya Jamal_H0003567892)
In the folder student has to put:
Your advertising campaign (A3-size Poster, 1080px*1920px Instagram Story, and 1080px*1080px Instagram Post) as .pdf, .psd, .ai or .png depending on the program you used to design each.
The texts of Task One in Part One and Task Three in Part Two should be explained in an MS word document.
Animation design in .mp4 format.
Signed cover sheet in a pdf file. FWA Practical 202320 Cover Sheet.docx
Zip the folder and submit it in BBL.
