Health care is subject to pervasive federal regulation. Everything from quality management and patient satisfaction to workplace safety and protection of patient information is subject to federal regulation. As a health care CEO, it is important to understand the breadth and depth of regulation and how it influences the business of health care.
Watch the following two videos as you prepare to respond:

• “Key Federal Agencies: CMS”
How has government regulation and oversight influenced health care products and services? Provide an example. Do you think this regulation and oversight does more to help or hurt health care? Please explain.
Should the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) be repealed entirely, some parts or none at all? Justify your reasoning.
